What is GatewayDefender, and how is it different?
GatewayDefender is a managed service whose entire purpose is to eliminate email threats, and thus to help users avoid their potentially damaging effects of bad email. GatewayDefender's unique approach is called EMTi, or Electronic Message Threat Interdiction. Interdiction is fundamentally different, because it allows only good emails to reach your mail server. If GatewayDefender is enabled for a domain, all emails will pass through the GatewayDefender service.

What about control of false positives?
If GatewayDefender EMTi interdicts messages before they reach my account, will I still have any control? Yes, you will be able to control your own level of protection using GatewayDefender's Message Center. Rather than being responsible for keeping up with the myriads of tricks that senders use, you will simply be able to indicate how strict or sensitive they would like GatewayDefender to be. In addition, you will be able to view ALL email that has been blocked and selectively allow them to go through or delete them.
